Mr. Bachchan: The Spark Fades for Bhagyasri and Mickey J Meyer

Mr Bachchan, Despite being a Ravi Teja film from the beginning of promotions to the release date, the film’s buzz primarily came from actress Bhagyasri Borse and music director Mickey J Meyer. However, their efforts have resulted in a mixed response post-release.

Bhagyasri Borse, despite it being her debut film, engaged the audience with her charm and energy both on and off screen. However, she couldn’t maintain the same level of impact after the film’s release, except for the initial openings. What went wrong? Let’s explore.

Bhagyasri Borse, as Jikki in Mr. Bachchan, had sufficient screen presence, but the underdeveloped love story and her own dubbing, which was initially praised for its commitment, unfortunately did not suit the role. Furthermore, the content diminished Jikki’s role, leading to a point where her appearances in the second half of the film drained the audience’s energy even more.

On the other hand, Mickey J Meyer, despite deserving appreciation for his background score and songs, found that the limited number of songs in the film’s lengthy runtime proved to be ineffective.
