Mithun Chakraborty’s Health Scare: Modi’s Concern

Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty has been discharged from a private hospital in Kolkata after being admitted on Saturday due to severe chest pain. According to the latest update from news agency PTI, Mithun left the hospital on Monday afternoon, reassuring everyone that he was “absolutely fine” and ready to resume shooting for his upcoming films.

The 73-year-old actor, who was admitted to the hospital on February 10, had complained of severe chest pain but has since recovered well. In a statement, he emphasized that there was no cause for concern and expressed his eagerness to return to work soon. Mithun also mentioned receiving a call from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who reportedly scolded him for not taking care of his health.

Earlier reports had indicated that Mithun was diagnosed with an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident (stroke) of the brain. However, the actor’s health has improved significantly, and he is currently in stable condition. Medical professionals at the hospital conducted various tests, including an MRI, and Mithun is now fully conscious and active.

Despite his recent health scare, Mithun remains committed to his work and is gearing up to resume shooting for his upcoming projects. The actor, who was conferred with the Padma Bhushan award in 2024, continues to inspire fans with his resilience and dedication to his craft.
