Marvel Studios has officially confirmed the cast for its highly anticipated Fantastic Four movie, set to hit theaters in 2025. The announcement, made on Valentine’s Day 2024, included a first look at the superhero suits and revealed the actors who will bring the iconic characters to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The leading roles of Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) and Sue Storm (Invisible Woman) will be portrayed by Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby, respectively. Pascal is known for his role as the Mandalorian in the Star Wars universe, while Kirby most recently appeared in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning.
Joseph Quinn, known for his role in Stranger Things, will play the fiery Johnny Storm (Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, previously seen in The Punisher, will take on the role of the rocky Ben Grimm (The Thing).
The concept art also revealed a change in the movie’s title to “The Fantastic Four.” Additionally, the release date for the film has been slightly delayed to July 25, 2025, with Thunderbolts moving to May 2, 2025.
While it was hinted that Doctor Doom may not be the main antagonist in the film, rumors suggest that the character will still play a role in the movie.
