Thabitha Sukumar, wife of the renowned director Sukumar, ventured into filmmaking and produced a comedy drama titled Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam. Aha Video, the Telugu OTT Platform, has bought the film’s digital rights for a good amount. The platform has a handful of movies by small-budget entertainers, and Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam will be the latest addition to the list.
Directed by Lakshman Karya, the film also stars Ankith Koyya and Indraja in crucial roles, while Ramya Pasupuleti, Harshavardhan, Praveen, and Ajay appear in supporting roles. The film’s neat taking and entertainment were praised by audiences, and the makers expect the same response to be repeated after its OTT arrival.
