‘Market Mahalakshmi ‘, a low-budget movie, was released on April 19, 2024. Despite the limited promotion, the film managed to capture the attention of the audience. They plan to release it during the final week of July 2024, continuing their trend of securing rights to numerous Telugu films.
Paravteesam made a remarkable comeback with the film Market Mahalakshmi after a significant hiatus. Initially gaining recognition through a movie produced by Dil Raju in the early 2000s, he faced a series of failures as a lead actor, causing him to fade from the spotlight. However, he took a break and returned to the industry with Market Mahalakshmi. This film revolves around the life of a software employee, portrayed by Paravateesam, whose father’s sole ambition is to secure a wealthy bride for him and obtain a substantial dowry. However, everything takes a dramatic turn when Paravateesam falls in love with Market Mahalakshmi, a financially disadvantaged vegetable vendor portrayed by Paraneeka.
Aha has not yet set a release date and will reveal it soon. The reviewers felt that Market Mahalakshmi could have been more exciting and updated. They stated that the family drama looked outdated and lacked appeal. While the heroines’ performances garnered attention, the rest of the film was uninteresting and outdated. It will be interesting to see how Market Mahalakshmi performs once it is released on Aha.
