Manushi Chhillar, a renowned Bollywood actress, contributed significantly to Ali Abbas Zafar’s film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Despite the presence of talented actors like Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles, the movie achieved little success at the box office. After its theatrical run of 10 days, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan only managed to earn Rs 55 crore in ticket sales. During an interview with Zoom, Manushi recently shared her thoughts on the film’s box office performance.
In an interview, Manushi said, “I was like ‘Arey, mere to life me bohot kuchh overnight hua hai (I thought to myself that a lot in my life has happened overnight).’ Not that I haven’t worked hard for it.” The actress previously believed that by being focused and committed to her work, she would reap the rewards. Manushi also expressed that actors desire their films to succeed and for people to watch and enjoy them. Nevertheless, the BMCM actress mentioned that occasionally, these aspirations may not materialize, and she has come to accept that. Manushi expressed her perspective on box office numbers, stating that she has no control over them as an actor. Consequently, she does not allocate much thought to things that are beyond her control.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan faced off against Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan at the box office for those unfamiliar with the situation. The movie, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and Amit Sharma, was released during Eid 2024. Following the conclusion of BMCM’s theatrical run, it will be available on Netflix. Currently, the film is being shown in theaters. In addition to Akshay, Tiger, and Manushi, the film’s star-studded cast includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Alaya F, Sonakshi Sinha, and Ronit Roy. Before the release of BMCM, Manushi appeared in Operation Valentine, where she acted alongside Varun Tej.
