Manichithrathazu Re-Release: The Preview of the Old Classic receives a superb response

Malayalam Movie fans are ready for the re-release of Manichithrathazu, the psychological horror thriller that was originally released in 1993. For a few days, there has been a great buzz about the film’s second arrival in theaters after 31 years. Now, much to the happiness of movie lovers, Manichithrathazu will be re-released in theaters on August 17th.

Before the re-release, the cast arranged a special show of the film and watched it along with the moviegoers. It is being reported that the response to the preview show of Manichithrathazu was superb, and audiences enjoyed the film with great enthusiasm. The crowd reiterated many dialogues and shouted for their favorite scenes, which made the team very happy. Mohanlal’s old film, Devadoothan, was recently re-released in theaters and gathered good collections at the box office. So, the same will be expected when Manichithrathazu arrives again on big screens.

Manichithrathazu stars Suresh Gopi, Mohanlal, and Shobana and it is regarded as one of the classics of Malayalam cinema history. The main character in this 1993 psychological horror thriller film is Ganga, a young woman who assumes the character of the Tamil dancer Nagavalli. Mohanlal appears as Dr. Sunny in the movie, who visits his friend’s mansio and treats Shobana, who portrays Ganga and solves the mystery surrounding Nagavalli. Suresh Gopi portrayed Ganga’s spouse, Nakulan. Thilakan, Innocent, KPAC Lalitha, Nedumudi Venu, Kuthiravattam Pappu, Vinaya Prasad, Ganesh Kumar, Sudheesh, Rudra, Kuttyedathi Vilasini, and Sridhar were among the actors who portrayed supporting roles. Supported by the esteemed banner Swargachitra, the film was released in 1993 and garnered positive reviews from viewers.
