The fans of Superstar Mahesh Babu celebrated his 49th birthday with the re-release of his old classic film, Murari. Many theaters in the Telugu States showed house full board on August 9th. The fans had done an aggressive campaign for Murari’s re-release, which paid off very well, resulting in impressive box office numbers. However, on the evening of August 9th, the fans of Mahesh Babu received an unexpected surprise from Sithara Entertainments’ birthday wish post of Mahesh Babu.
It is widely known that Mahesh’s last theatrical release, Guntur Kaaram, was directed by Trivirakm Srinivas and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments Banner. The film did not receive positive talk but it eventually ended up as an average runner at the box office. The team of Sithara Entertainments took to their official X (Twitter) account yesterday evening to convey birthday wishes to Mahesh. They released an unseen still from the Guntur Kaaram, which surprised the fans. In the poster, we can observe Mahesh sporting an intensely serious look while holding two weapons in two hands. After seeing this pic, the fans made it viral on social media and they had numerous discussions on Guntur Karam’s Story.
According to inside reports, Guntur Karam, which was the 28th Film of Mahesh Babu, was not supposed to be a family drama. It is being reported that Mahesh and Trivikram had planned to make an action thriller with bloody action episodes. However, after a series of script discussions, both the actor and writer/director decided to drop the idea and went ahead with the family drama concept. After seeing the unseen still of Mahesh Babu in a violent avatar, the fans felt that it would have been great if Trivikram and Mahesh Babu glued on to the original idea of making an action film.
