Logan Lucky OTT Release Details

It is undeniable that heist dramas always manage to attract an audience. The global fascination with stories involving thieves or ordinary individuals coming together to pull off a high-stakes robbery with meticulous planning and flawless execution is evident. Whether it’s Money Heist or other beloved franchises, there is an apparent demand for this genre. Lionsgate Play has recognized this trend and has chosen to reintroduce a 2017 heist drama on their streaming service. The film in question is Logan Lucky, featuring a talented ensemble cast of nine actors. We recently announced the upcoming streaming of this movie on the platform, and now we have confirmed the release date.

Lionsgate Play has been focusing on re-releasing several acclaimed movies from the recent past. Following the release of Replicas, The Iron Claw, and other films last month, the streamer has updated its upcoming list. Logan Lucky is scheduled for release on the Lionsgate Play app this July, sooner than anticipated. The latest information reveals that Logan Lucky will be available on the Lionsgate Play app on July 12, 2024. Additionally, the streamer will offer the film not only in English but also in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, providing fans with a total of four language options. Audiences across the country can now enjoy this 2017 film.

Directed by Steven Soderbergh, Logan Lucky features a star-studded cast including Daniel Craig, Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Riley Keough, Katie Holmes, Katherine Waterston, Dwight Yoakam, Sebastian Stan, and Hilary Swank in significant roles. The film revolves around a heist involving cars that takes an intriguing twist. Interestingly, a sequel was in the works with Daniel Craig’s character, Joe Bang, at the center. Steven Soderbergh himself confirmed this plan. According to Comicbook, during a Reddit AMA session, Steven mentioned that they had initially intended to create a prequel focusing on Joe Bang’s backstory. However, the project still needs to materialize due to the movie’s underperformance.
