While the actor has kept his future projects under wraps, his film ‘King’ has been a topic of discussion. With the unofficial confirmation from the actor, it is now known that he is currently working on his next project, tentatively named ‘King.’
One of Shah Rukh Khan’s fan clubs shared a video on social media showcasing King Khan’s admiration for cinematographer Santosh Sivan. This praise was for Sivan’s recent recognition at the esteemed Pierre Angenieux ExcelLens during the 77th Cannes Film Festival. In the video, Shah Rukh Khan discusses his experience working with Sivan on the film Asoka. At the same time, an interesting detail that caught everyone’s eye was the presence of the script for his upcoming movie, King, on the table beside his chair. Upon seeing the script, fans quickly took to social media to express their excitement over what they believed to be an unofficial announcement of SRK’s next project. One fan exclaimed, “King Khan himself has hinted at the highly anticipated ‘King’ movie. Sujoy Ghosh, renowned for his work in movies such as Badla, Kahaani, and Jaane Jaan, is reportedly set to direct Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan in the upcoming film King. Recent reports have also revealed that Anirudh Ravichander, who previously collaborated with Khan on Jawan, will be composing the theme music for the movie. Filming for ‘King’ is expected to begin later this year, with a potential release date in 2025. This film will mark Suhana Khan’s debut on the big screen, following her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, which premiered on Netflix. ‘King’ is a joint production between Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Pictures.
