Despite losing screens to new releases, Kill had a successful second weekend, with a solid second Friday and many cinemas replacing other new releases with Kill on Saturday. This led to a significant increase in box office numbers.
Kill has earned 2 crore net on the second Sunday, crossing the 16 crore net threshold. The film is poised to set new benchmarks for movies in the contemporary action genre and introduce new talents. It had better audience turnout in many areas compared to its competitors, with much higher initial numbers when screen averages are considered. This success is due to the film’s high-quality production and highly positive word of mouth. This exhilarating journey is far from over.
The film Kill, helmed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, is being brought to life by producers Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta from Dharma Productions, as well as Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain from Sikhya Entertainment. The cast includes debutant Lakshya, along with Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala. The film Kill revolves around the characters Amrit (Lakshya) and Tulika (Tanya Maniktala), who are in love. Amrit intends to propose to Tulika during their train journey from Ranchi to Delhi. Unfortunately, Fani (Raghav Juyal) and his group of dangerous criminals target the train, initiating a violent robbery and killing spree. Amrit bravely confronts the attackers to shield his girlfriend and other passengers.
