Kill: Lakshya and Raghav’s action film locks its OTT Partner

Director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s action-thriller Kill is scheduled to hit the big screens on July 5, 2024. The film features Lakshya and Raghav Juyal in the lead roles and previously made its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2023. Now, the producers are gearing up for its release in Indian cinemas. Produced by Karan Johar, Guneet Monga, Apoorva Mehta, and Achin Jain, the OTT platform for Kill has also been announced. The audience knows where to catch the film once its theatrical run concludes.

Once its theatrical run concludes, the film Kill, which stars Lakshya as Amrit, will be available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar. While the streaming service has been confirmed, the exact OTT release date for Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s movie has yet to be announced. Kill features Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chaya, Tanya Maniktala, Abhishek Chauhan, Adrija Sinha, and many more. The plot revolves around Lakshya’s Amrit, who discovers that his beloved Tulika is being forced into an engagement with him. Upon realizing this, he decides to take a train to New Delhi, where a group of knife-wielding robbers, led by Fani (Raghav), create chaos among the passengers. During a recent interview, Lakshya discussed his experience of witnessing his movie, Kill, at the Toronto International Film Festival. He mentioned being seated right in the center of a crowd of 1,700 individuals, and their genuine, unfiltered reactions were a significant validation for him as an actor, an artist, and for all those involved in the film. Lakshya expressed his inability to articulate the experience, as he had never encountered such a situation.

As reported, the clash between Kill and Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has been avoided. Both movies were set to hit theaters on July 5. However, Ajay Devgn’s film producers have decided to delay their release. Consequently, Kill will now have the spotlight with a solo release.
