Akshay Kumar’s latest comedy drama, Khel Khel Mein was released in theaters on August 15, 2024. The film was released in a three-way clash with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2, and John Abraham — Sharvari’s Vedaa.
While Stree 2 is showcasing a spectacular performance at the ticket windows, Khel Khel Mein is having a tough time gathering the attention of audiences. On the first day, KKM collected 5 Crores net and on the second day it saw a 50% drop in the collections as it gathered just over 2.5 Crore Net. For 2 days, Khel Khel Mein collected 7.5 Crores Net in India.
Besides Akshay Kumar, Khel Khel Mein also has Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal and Pragya Jaiswal in crucial roles. Mudassar Aziz directed the movie. There was a buzz that Akshay’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan co-star, Tiger Shroff might make a cameo in the film; however, it did not happen, and it turned out to be just a reference in a scene. Looking at the trend, trade circles expect Khel Khel Mein to end around 30 Crore Net.
