One month ago, rumors were circulating that Kartik had joined forces with Sajid Nadiadwala and Vishal Bhardwaj for an action-packed movie. Kartik appears to have now officially confirmed his involvement in the project. The actor was recently seen at Sajid Nadiadwala’s office, further fueling the speculation. It is worth mentioning that Sajid is believed to be the producer of the film, which is tentatively titled “Arjun Ustara.” Additionally, Sajid is financing Kartik’s upcoming film “Chandu Champion,” directed by Kabir Khan.
Kartik recently began filming Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 right after finishing Chandu Champion. Despite completing work on the movie, the actor was spotted at producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s office. Kartik may have been there to discuss the final details of Chandu Champion or the rumored film. Around one month ago, Bollywood Media released news stating that Kartik is currently in talks to star in an action film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film is in the early stages of writing, and preparations have already begun. The production team aims to start filming in the second half of 2024. Therefore, it is highly probable that Kartik is currently discussing the project with the producer. This will mark Kartik’s debut in a full-fledged action movie if everything falls into place.
Sources have indicated that Kartik is interested in delving into the action genre, hence his willingness to commit to the upcoming project. This decision aligns well with his current schedule, as he is set to conclude filming for Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 by June 2024 before transitioning to Vishal Bhardwaj’s film. In addition to Chandu Champion, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, and Arjun Ustara, Kartik is said to have signed on for Hera Pheri 3 and Aashiqui 3, as well as Kunal Kohli’s Ryan: First Mission. On the other hand, Vishal’s upcoming project is a collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala, tentatively titled Arjun Ustara, following his last film Khufiya starring Tabu and Ali Fazal.
