Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar allegedly had a falling out following Kartik’s exit from Dostana 2. Despite reports of a strained relationship over the years, they maintained a facade of cordiality by appearing together at events. However, they have now dispelled all rumors by standing by each other’s side at the airport. The young actor and veteran producer were spotted together at the Mumbai airport. They exchanged laughter and had a conversation. Additionally, Karan embraced Kartik before they bid farewell to each other.
Kartik donned vibrant attire, whereas Karan opted for black sophistication. Kartik sported a shirt with a blue-and-yellow color scheme, complemented by white trousers and monochrome sports shoes. In contrast, Karan chose black formal wear with a hint of quirkiness, accessorizing with square black sunglasses, black sports shoes, and a coordinating bag. In 2021, a controversy arose between Kartik and Karan when it was revealed that Karan accused Kartik of behaving ‘unprofessionally’ during the filming of Dostana 2. Consequently, Kartik was abruptly removed from the movie despite its announcement in 2019. Kartik was initially cast opposite Janhvi Kapoor in the film. It is worth mentioning that Dostana 2 serves as Lakshya’s debut in the film industry.
On the work front, Kartik is currently involved in the shooting of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 alongside Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri. Additionally, Kartik is also a part of Kabir Khan’s Chandu Champion, which is currently in the post-production stage. On the other hand, Karan is gaining attention for his upcoming film The Bull, which is expected to feature Salman Khan in the lead role. The movie is being directed by Vishnuvardhan, who previously directed Shershaah. Karan has recently announced another project titled Dulhania 3, also known as Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Furthermore, Karan has also revealed plans for a collaboration with Kartik, with the movie being co-produced by Ektaa Kapoor.
