Producer Karan Johar recently took to Instagram to unveil the teaser of his upcoming film Yodha. The teaser promises an action-packed thrill ride starring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role. Karan shared the teaser with the caption, “The sky’s the limit and he’s about to cross them all. Landing straight to your screens with a BANG! #YodhaTeaser OUT NOW! #Yodha in cinemas March 15.”
The one-minute-long teaser showcases Sidharth Malhotra as a soldier fighting hijackers and terrorists to rescue passengers on an Air India flight. The action sequences are intense, with Sidharth also seen bashing up individuals inside what seems to be the Parliament. The teaser also gives glimpses of Disha Patani in the role of an air hostess and Raashii Khanna in an undisclosed role.
Directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, Yodha is scheduled to hit theaters on March 15, 2024. The film has been through several release date changes, initially set for November 11, 2022, before being postponed to July 2023, then to September 15, then to December 15, and finally to its current date. Sidharth Malhotra has expressed excitement about the film, stating that it has brought out a newer version of him as an artist, and he can’t wait to showcase it to the audience.
Dharma Productions, the banner behind the film, also shared the teaser on their YouTube channel, describing it as a turbulence-inducing action thriller. Yodha marks another collaboration between Karan Johar and Sidharth Malhotra, following their previous successful ventures. As fans eagerly await the film’s release, Yodha promises to be a high-octane entertainer that will keep audiences at the edge of their seats.
