Suriya starrer Kanguva, a period fantasy film, is set to hit the big screens on October 10, 2024. This project, the first collaboration between the National award-winning actor and filmmaker Siva, has generated a lot of social media buzz due to its intriguing teaser and posters. According to the latest updates, the makers are preparing to release the highly anticipated first single from Kanguva on social media in the near future. The song, titled the ‘Fire Song,’ will be a gift for Suriya Fans as it will be released on his birthday.
The highly anticipated first single from Kanguva will be unveiled on July 23, 2024, in celebration of the 49th birthday of the renowned actor Leading Man Suriya. The producers of the historical fantasy movie recently confirmed this significant announcement through an official social media post. Subsequently, the team released a special video featuring the acclaimed actor, director Siva, music composer Devi Sri Prasad, lyricist Viveka, and other team members. The video disclosed that the special track had been named the ‘Fire Song,’ much to the delight of movie enthusiasts. The debut single of Kanguva, Fire Song, is interestingly linked to RRR, the SS Rajamouli film featuring Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the leading roles. According to sources, the choreography for Fire Song is done by Prem Rakshith, who also choreographed the iconic Academy Award-winning song ‘Naatu Naatu.’ Director Siva and his team are reportedly determined to avoid replicating the current style of film songs in Kanguva, given that the movie is set in a fictional, medieval era.
Suriya will portray a dual role in the forthcoming Siva directorial, playing the character Kanguva and a contemporary man. Disha Patani stars opposite him as the female lead, while Bollywood actor Bobby Deol plays the main antagonist. Supporting roles in the period fantasy film are played by Kovai Sarala, Jisshu Sengupta, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Natarajan Subramaniam, Anand Raj, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, Deepa Venkat, and others. The movie is a joint production between Studio Green and UV Creations.
