The makers of Kalki 2898 AD recently unveiled the song, Theme of Kalki in Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Although the release of the second single on various social media platforms was expected on the same night, it was indefinitely delayed due to undisclosed technical issues. However, after a considerable wait, the team finally released the Theme Of Kalki song and its accompanying lyrical video on social media. Santhosh Narayanan’s composition has greatly impressed cinema enthusiasts and music lovers alike. The second single provides a glimpse into the fact that Kalki 2898 AD will offer an unprecedented experience for Indian film fanatics. The Kalki song, with its captivating beginning, explores the theme of the rise of Kalki, the 10th incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The song is composed by Santhosh Narayanan and pays homage to the previous nine avatars of Vishnu, starting from Matsya (the fish) to Lord Krishna. While the first eight incarnations are depicted through sketches, the makers have chosen to keep Krishna concealed. The combination of the powerful composition, the talented team of singers, including Kaala Bhairava, Ananthu, Gowtham Bharadwaj, and Chorus, and the profound lyrics by Chandrabose all contribute to making the second single of Kalki 2898 AD truly magnificent.

Deepika Padukone brings to life the character of a divine mother who carries the unborn Kalki within her. Amitabh Bachchan portrays Immortal Ashwatthama, the guardian of the chosen one, and his mother. Prabhas embodies Bhairava, a formidable individual determined to separate Deepika from her unborn child. Kamal Haasan, on the other hand, plays Supreme Yaskin (aka Kali), the primary antagonist who is out to end the life of the unborn Kalki. These compelling characters, brought to life by our talented cast, are at the heart of the film’s gripping narrative.
