The long-awaited day has come at last! Kalki 2898 AD, a film that has been highly anticipated, has made its debut in cinemas on Thursday (June 27). Starring Prabhas in the lead role, the movie is helmed by Nag Ashwin. It features renowned actors such as Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Pasupathi, Shobhana, Rajendra Prasad, and Anna Ben. Kalki 2898 AD stands out as one of the most expensive projects in Telugu cinema, drawing inspiration from the Hindu epic Mahabharat to create a futuristic dystopian drama. According to Hindu scriptures, the storyline unfolds during the time of Kali Yug, one of the four cycles. Santhosh Narayanan composed the music for Kalki 2898 AD, while Djordje Stojiljkovic handled the cinematography. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao has done the editing of the film.
