Kalki 2898 AD achieved unprecedented box office numbers over the weekend, amassing a global gross of 500 crore in just four days. The movie has achieved a remarkable 11 million gross in North America, making it the highest-grossing opening weekend for Indian cinema, surpassing the epic Baahubali 2. The Hindi version has garnered 110 crore net in India, with expectations of exceeding 300 crore net overall. The success of the Hindi version is pivotal for the film to enter the 1000-crore club. Kalki is also performing well in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala. On days 2 and 3, mass stations in Telugu states experienced a decrease in footfall, but on day 4, there was a significant increase. The occupancy rates on day 4 were also higher than on day 1 in Andhra Pradesh, and Nizam has been the best-performing area for Kalki in its home. It is also being said that the makers of Kalki will reduce the hiked ticket rates in Andhra Pradesh in a day or two, which will automatically strengthen the footfall.

Kalki 2898 AD is a cinematic marvel that takes place in a dystopian future, seamlessly blending Hindu mythology with science fiction. This unique concept, brought to life by Nag Ashwin’s high-budget film, is being produced by Ashwini Dutt for Vyjayanthi Movies.
