Johnny Lever talks about Karan Arjun Shoot, Shahrukh, and Salman

Johnny Lever reminisced about his collaboration with Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in the action-packed film Karan Arjun, released in 1995. Lever highlighted Salman’s effortless execution of fight sequences, whereas SRK faced challenges in performing action scenes. However, the legendary comedy actor recommended SRK’s dedication and perseverance in honing his craft and transforming into one of our time’s most prominent global stars.

“He (SRK) and Akshay Kumar are hardworking, but there’s a difference. SRK was weak in the fight; he was weak in dancing. Salman Khan and SRK were doing Karan Arjun. Salman was doing a perfect take, but there would be retakes because of him (SRK). Salman would mock SRK. That man has worked and made himself a star. He is now a pro in dance, and he can fight too now,” Johnny told Ranveer Allahbadia (famous Youtuber).

Johnny continued, ” During the filming of Baazigar, both SRK and I had already collaborated on the project before he appeared in Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. However, at that time, he hadn’t gained much fame. I was more well-known than him among the people on set. I was a prominent star during that period, while SRK was still on the rise. When discussing Salman Khan, Johnny expressed, “He doesn’t stress too much. He possesses a remarkable personality and remains engrossed in his own world” (mimicking him). Johnny believes that Shah Rukh takes his work very seriously, whereas Salman is more carefree. “So, it’s a matter of their nature. Over time, people began to appreciate everything SRK accomplished. They admired his meticulousness. Women would be infatuated with him, while men would envy his stardom. Nevertheless, he remained focused on his work,” he stated.
