Jessica Alba’s Trigger Warning OTT Release Details

Jessica Alba, who has been absent from the big screen for almost half a decade, makes her comeback with Trigger Warning, a suspenseful movie set to premiere on OTT platforms in June. Directed by Mouly Surya from Indonesia, the film is scheduled to be available on Netflix starting June 21. Before its release, the streaming service unveiled a trailer for the movie, showcasing Jessica as a skilled special forces operative seeking justice for her father’s tragic demise.

Upon the ‘accidental’ death of her father, Jessica, also known as special forces commando Parker, returns to her hometown in the film. As she delves deeper into the mysterious circumstances of her father’s passing, Parker finds herself in conflict with a ruthless gang that holds sway over the town. Undaunted, she draws upon her training and the assistance of trusted companions to uncover the truth and bring about justice in her beloved hometown. The cast of Trigger Warning includes Mark Webber, Jake Weary, Anthony Michael Hall, Tone Bell, Gabriel Basso, Hari Dhillon, Peter Monro, James Cady, Alejandro De Hoyos, Stephanie Jones, and Kaiwi Lyman, among others. Mouly Surya’s first English-language film is Trigger Warning. She previously directed Fiksi and Marlina the Murderer in Four Acts, which earned her Best Director nominations at the Indonesian Film Festival organized by the Indonesian Film Board and Ministry of Education, Culture Research, and Technology, making her the first woman to win the Citra Award.

Jessica Alba, known for her roles in action-packed films such as Dark Angel and Sin City, has taken her stunt work to the next level in Trigger Warning. In this film, playing the character Parker, she showcases her expert gun skills and her proficiency in hand-to-hand combat and other high-octane action sequences.
