Jagan is responsible if something happens to Naidu in jail, says Yanamala

Former minister and TDP politburo member, Yanamala Ramakrishhnudu, on Friday made it clear that if something happens to former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, inside the Rajamahendravaram Central Jail, Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, will be held responsible.

Talking to media persons at Rajamahendravaram, Ramakrishhnudu asked as to how the deputy superintendent of jail has given the health bulletin which should be given by the doctors. ”What exactly is there in the health bulletin given by the deputy superintendent of jail. Basing on what report the deputy superintendent has given the health bulletin,” he questioned.

Observing that minimum medical tests like blood test have not been conducted, Ramakrishhnudu said that since the health condition of Chandrababu is not good he got skin allergy. Since beginning both the State Government and the jail officials have been giving wrong reports on the health condition of Chandrababu, he stated.

The health bulletin should be given only by the officials concerned after the doctors conduct the medical tests. But how the jail deputy superintendent can release the bulletin, Yanamala asked. No where it is mentioned in the health bulletin that the doctors have conducted relevan tests and this is only released by the deputy superintendent of the jail on his own, Yanamala maintained.

Demanding that the medical reports of the doctors be made public, Ramakrishnudu felt that the room in which Chandrababu is lodged, and the surroundings are not clean die to which he got the health problems.

The over-head tank is filled with only bore water, he felt that it is not known whether the tank is being cleaned regularly or not and Chandrababu has to take bath with such water.

Chandrababu is a national-level leader, and the State Government should take this into consideration, Ramakrishnudu observed. Chandrababu has been implicated in the case with false cases and wrong evidence, the former minister said and added that the actual health condition of Chandrababu is not being revealed.

His weight has come down by five kg and if the weight is reduced by two more kgs, in all probability Chandrababu may get some kidney problem, Yanalama felt and demanded a clarity on this. Strongly condemning subjecting Mr Chandrababu to this kind of issues at this age, Ramakrishnudu said that if any health problem arises, he should immediately be shifted to hospital.

The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) is clearly admitting that he is getting pressure from above, Yanamala said that as a practicing advocate he can meet Chandrababu through mulaqat but still he is not being allowed. Since Chandrababu has some health issues, the TDP will also take legal recourse on this, he said.

Ramakrishnudu demanded that Chandrababu be admitted to the super-speciality hospital till he recovers from these health issues. He also expressed concern that liver and heart problems too may arise if the same situation continues. Recalling that former Bihar chief minister, Laloo Prasad Yadav, too was admitted to hospital when his health condition deteriorated, the TDP politburo member felt that Chandrababu may get dust alergy too.

Even the details of the medicines being administered are not being made public, Ramakrishnudu said that private doctors should be allowed to visit Mr Chandrababu. The rules clearly permit the local MLA and the MLC to visit the jail, but the officials are not allowing them, Ramakrishnudu maintained.
