Jagan gave a new meaning to development, welfare

Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had brought a new meaning to development and welfare in the state in the last five years. He brought a revolutionary change in the system and made the lives of the people simple and easy.

He brought Village Secretariats, Rythu Bharosa Kendras, and Village Clinics to every village with a population of 2000 people. There were only a government school and village panchayat office in the past in these villages. Now three more government buildings have been added.

Through these three buildings, at least 15 employees in the Village Secretariat, five each in the Rythu Bharosa Kendras and Village Clinics have been added. This would mean that there are at least 25 employees added to every village.

With these employees, the tea shop which used to be closed at 11 AM in the village is now open till evening. The chaiwala does business till evening and his income is increased. The provisions shop in the village too has more business with at least 10 employees living in the village with families.

New shops like vegetables, fruits, saloons would be added slowly to the village. The shops like footwear would also join the race and the village economy thus goes up. The face of the village would be transformed with the new economy. This is what development means in terms of peoples’ economy.

Then the pensions are delivered at the doorstep. Earlier, the aged and disabled used to walk all the way to the village panchayat office to receive pension. Walking all the way and waiting there for hours together was a horrible time for them. If the person runs out of money, then they would have to come again another day. These hardships are not there now. The pension is given to them on the first day of every month at their doorstep.

People used to visit the Mandal Revenue Office for any work, and it used to take at least two to three days to get anything done. This would mean that they stop going to work for two to three days to get things done. But now they just walk into the village secretariat, file an application, and go back to their work. By the time they come back from work, their work is done. No bribe, no hardships, and no lapse of time. Everything is done within hours and within the village. Is it not development?

The provisions like rice, dal and others are given at the ration dealer shop. The aged, disabled and others walk all the way to get the provisions. They seek and plead someone to get those provisions to their village as the aged and disabled cannot carry them. Now, the provisions are delivered at the doorstep. No need to plead anyone and no need to be at the mercy of anyone.

This is the development that Jagan Mohan Reddy brought to the people. Hence, why should anyone vote for others? Where is the reason for anyone not to vote for Jagan? Why would anyone want a leader other than Jagan Mohan Reddy?
