Ishq Vishk Rebound is a fresh take on the 2003 film Ishq Vishk, which featured Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao in the lead roles. This reboot stars Pashmina Roshan, Rohit Saraf, Naila Grrewal, and Jibraan Khan in pivotal roles. The makers unveiled the movie’s trailer on June 11, 2024, and as anticipated, it delves into the realms of love, friendship, and everything in between. The trailer commences with two adorable pairs – Rohit, Naila, Pashmina, and Jibraan. As their relationships come to an end, tensions rise, turning into a clash between friendship and romance. The movie bears a striking resemblance to Shahid-Amrita’s film, albeit with a contemporary and millennial twist. Following their breakups, love blossoms between the friends, leading to a romantic connection between Rohit and Pashmina as they discover their mutual attraction. The trailer also has two iconic dialogues – “pyar dosti hai” from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and “ek ladka aur ladki kabhi dost nahi hote” from Maine Pyar Kiya. In addition to some new songs, the film trailer includes a selection of songs from the original movie – Ishq Vishk, composed by Anu Malik.
