After a hiatus of five years, Sreenu Vaitla is making a comeback with his latest venture, collaborating with actor Gopichand for the 32nd time. Tentatively Titled “Viswam,” the film initially garnered high expectations from fans and industry insiders alike. However, the production encountered numerous challenges during filming, primarily due to budget overruns. This setback is compounded by Gopichand’s own string of recent setbacks at the box office, including the failure of his latest film, “Bhimaa.”
In a recent interview, Sreenu Vaitla revealed that “Viswam” boasts of exotic filming locations such as Italy, Rome, Milan, Goa, and Manali, promising audiences a visual treat. Despite assurances of a commercial extravaganza, some skeptics have raised concerns about the risky nature of the venture, considering both the director and the lead actor are striving to make a comeback in the industry. However, amidst the uncertainties, the latest reports reveal that People Media Factory, a reputed production company, has joined forces with the original producers, Chitralayam Studios, indicating renewed confidence in the project’s potential.
