IPC is a new Marathi web series ready to arrive on OTT. Ultra Jhakaas is an emerging streaming platform that is trying to mark its own space in the digital field by bringing some exciting movies and web series from the Marathi film industry. IPC is the latest original series that is said to have a good mix of thrills and chills. The title of the series, IPC, stands for Indian Penal Code, the official criminal code in the Republic of India.
According to the official announcement, IPC will be available for online streaming on Ultra Jhakaas from October 25, 2024. The web series’ core plot is fictional, but it is said to be based on some real-life terrifying crime incidents that happen with young women in the cities of Maharashtra. Kishor Kadam, Devika Daftardar, Abheney Saawant, Rajendra Shisatkar, and Suresh Vishwakarma played the main roles in the series. The trailer for IPC was recently released, and it gained everyone’s attention with its intense taking.
The trailer of IPC starts with actor Kishore Kadam, who is introduced as an honest lawyer fighting in the courtroom for a deadly murder attempt case of a young woman in a small village named Konkan. The trailer also shows a man who finds the body of a woman on the street during the Shimga festival and takes her to the hospital. Also, there is a creepy man who seems to threaten the victim in the hospital. Apart from the incidents of physical assaults on women, the trailer of IPC also shows a criminal gang participating in Poojas and flaunting their devotion.
