Hi Nanna Review: Boring Love Story leads to a not so Curious Reunion, Bye”

The impact of the lead pair’s chemistry falls short due to its dullness and lack of emotional depth in narration. The initial stage of the film fails to impress, making it challenging for the scenes leading to the reunion to resonate. Witnessing this lackluster love story and the absence of engaging scenes, aside from a few emotional moments, is disappointing.

While actor Nani’s performance is okay, there’s not much to showcase variations in his characterisation under the direction of Shouryuv. It would have been more compelling if Nani’s character had shown the same affection with his wife, played by Mrunal, instead of sticking solely to the father-daughter bonding.

The positive element in the film is Baby Kiara Khanna, whose scenes create magical moments in both the first and second halves. Unfortunately, her screen time is limited, leaving the audience to endure the boring love story in the first half between Nani and Mrunal, followed by a disappointing reunion in the latter half.

Regarding Mrunal, whether as Varsha or Yashna, it makes no difference when the overall story lacks intrigue.

Overall Verdict: It’s a big goodbye to the film and its making.

* It’s a personal opinion. It will not be based on it’s film run or the talk on the other side.
