He mentioned that making a series is quite demanding, and this project has been no exception. Since the release of Gangubai Kathiawadi in February 2022, he has been tirelessly working every single day without a break. As a result, he acknowledged the immense responsibility that comes with working on this series.
The plot of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar season 2 revolves around women migrating from Lahore to the film industry. After the partition, many of them find a new home in either the Mumbai or Kolkata film industry. Despite the location change, the essence of their journey in the bazaar remains intact. Instead of performing for nawabs, they now dance and sing for producers. This upcoming season promises to explore this shift, and the outcome is yet to be seen.
