The latest family entertainer from the Malayalam film industry, ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’, has performed exceptionally well at the box office. Directed by Vipin Das, the movie features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Basil Joseph, Nikhila Vimal, and Anaswara Rajan in the lead roles. With its comedic storyline, ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’ revolves around a wedding that is scheduled to take place in the renowned Guruvayoor temple. Despite facing a prominent opponent like Mammootty Turbo at the box office, this film still manages to get good numbers at the box office.
Guruvaooralambala Nadayil has collected over 28 Crores Gross in Kerala for 8 days, and the worldwide number will be around 60 Crores. The box office trackers are confident that if the film can maintain its long run for another week, it will comfortably enter the 100-crore club.
Director Vipin Das made it clear right from the start that Guruvayoorambala Nadayil is not going to be another Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya He. Prithviraj and Basil delivered outstanding performances, showcasing a genuinely remarkable chemistry. At times, the audience, much like the characters in the movie, may find themselves questioning whether it is Anandan and Vinu who will end up getting married instead of Vinu marrying Anandan’s sister. The fun moments and the references to old Malayalam Movies only add to the film’s overall enjoyment.
