The trailer for season 4 of Gullak has been released, showcasing a variety of engaging content. From the youngest character, Aman (Harsh Mayar), navigating adulthood, to the endearing couple Santosh (Jameel Khan) and Shanti (Geetanjali Kulkarni) enjoying quality time together, the trailer is heartwarming. Here are a few standout moments from the upcoming series that have left a lasting impression on us.
The trailer starts with Shanti expressing her concern to Santosh about Aman’s prolonged bathing sessions, but now it seems that Aman has finally matured as he starts growing a beard. The Mishra parents are faced with the decision of either allowing Aman to be independent or trying to control his behavior. Nevertheless, the excitement continues as both Aman and Santosh-Shanti are seen dancing freely in different situations. This suggests that the upcoming show will be highly anticipated. The siblings engage in a cordial dispute. Annu (Vaibhav Raj Gupta) comprehends that Aman is maturing and desires to influence his younger brother’s development. However, this notion does not sit well with Aman, as he already has three parental figures to contend with, and his brother, in particular, is more stringent than his actual parents. The noteworthy moment arises when Annu advises his father to adopt an animalistic rather than cynical approach.
Aman gets to taste the initial phase of love. He encounters Aditi and is unable to get her out of his mind. Upon meeting another lady, he is faced with the dilemma of how to store her contact information. Despite selecting the name Anand, his friend recommended using the water cooler. The lady, however, is content with being called Anand. Relatives and neighbors attempt to manipulate the family by referring to it as ‘kacchi umar.’ Moreover, when the child prioritizes building relationships with others over family ties (as is customary in Indian culture), it is not well-received. This is a realistic portrayal of adulthood in India, which is fraught with challenges and decisions. The trailer concludes with dark humor. The family discovers half a rod on the rooftop, prompting speculation about its purpose. Shanti jokingly suggests that Santosh will transform into a helicopter with the aid of the half rod. Jameel Khan’s reaction to this statement serves as a fitting conclusion to the scene.
