Gotta Catch ‘Em All in Jio Cinema

“Pokémon” is a super cool animated TV show that kids loved in the 90s and 2000s. Originally called Pocket Monsters, it started in Japan in 1996 and then came to other countries. The story is about a boy named Ash Ketchum who wants to be a Pokémon Master. He gets his first Pokémon from Professor Oak, who knows a lot about Pokémon. The show follows Ash’s adventures as he tries to achieve his dream. “Pokémon” is one of the longest animated series, with 25 seasons and over 50 episodes, and it ran from 1997 to 2023. Kids all around the world enjoyed watching it!

Back in the 90s, Pokémon was a huge hit, especially until the Master Quest. After school, everyone would gather around the TV to follow Ash, Misty, and Brock’s exciting adventures. But what is Pokémon? It’s like having characters in a game, and they’re called Pokémon. Trainers, like Ash, take care of and train them to battle other Pokémon and become top trainers. Pokémon come in types like water, fire, grass, and rock, a bit like a rock-paper-scissors game. The Pokémon craze didn’t stop there; it even led to a game called Pokémon Go. This game uses your phone to find, catch, train, and battle Pokémon as if they’re right there with you in the real world! The game is free and available in the Play Store. So, whether on TV or on phones, Pokémon has been a big part of fun for fans.

In India, bringing back the Pokémon nostalgia for 90s and 2000s kids was a bit of a challenge. Only a few episodes were on YouTube, and no streaming platforms had the complete Pokémon series. Voot Kids started with some seasons, but it had technical glitches. Now, with Jio Cinema taking over, there’s exciting news for Pokémon fans! Jio Cinema has got all 11 seasons and 22 Pokémon movies. Finally, we can catch ’em all in one place. Pikachu may be the star, but my personal favorites are Marill and Chikorita. How about yours?
