The latest installment of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is now accessible on OTT. This colossal movie can be rented on Prime Video. It marks the 38th Godzilla and 13th King Kong film, the fifth in the Monsterverse series, and serves as the sequel to Godzilla vs. Kong (2021). Until it becomes accessible to all subscribers, you can watch this film on the OTT platform for Rs. 499. Before this, the film was available for rent to Indian viewers on the popular ticketing platform BookMyShow.

Adam Wingard is back in the director’s chair once more. The movie boasts an impressive cast, including Fala Chen, Alex Ferns, Dan Stevens, Brian Tyree Henry, Kaylee Hottle, and Rebecca Hall. Hottle, Henry, and Hall reprise their roles from the previous film. To thwart the impending invasion of Earth by a tyrant and his frigid creature, Kong must reunite with Godzilla and encounter additional members of his species in Hollow Earth. The ongoing grand conflict shows no signs of ending! Following the breathtaking battle between Godzilla and Kong, the Monsterverse created by Legendary Pictures presents a thrilling new journey. The script for the film was written by Jeremy Slater, Simon Barrett, and Terry Rossio. It was based on a story about the iconic character Godzilla, which was owned and created by TOHO Co., Ltd. The picture was produced by Michael Rogers, Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Thomas Tull, and Eric McLeod. The executive producers included Kenji Okuhira, Yoshimitsu Banno, Wingard, Jen Conroy, and Jay Ashenfelter. The film received mixed reviews, with some critics unfavorably comparing it to Godzilla: Minus One. Despite this, it became the highest-grossing Godzilla film of all time, earning a global gross of $558.5 million on a budget of $135–150 million. It also ranked as the second-highest-grossing film of 2024. There are plans underway to develop a sequel.
