Vishwaksen’s “Gangs Of Godavari” has become a strong contender for the title of the most postponed film in recent times. Surprisingly, the movie has once again rescheduled its release date from May 17th to May 31st, despite the already crowded lineup of movies on that day. Yesterday evening, Telugu movie lovers were in for a shock when the makers of the GOG took to their official social media accounts and announced that the film had been postponed for another two weeks.
Recently, the promotional posters for the movie “Gangs Of Godavari,” featuring Vishwaksen and Neha Shetty, were seen everywhere. However, the producer Naga Vamsi’s political tour to Pithapuram to support Powersar Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena seems to have influenced a change in plans. Recognizing that the people of Andhra Pradesh are currently engrossed in the political atmosphere and may not pay attention to films until the election results on June 4th, despite the polling date being on May 13th, the decision was made to postpone the release of Gangs of Godavari.
Simultaneously, the IPL frenzy reached unprecedented heights this year, owing to SunRisers Hyderabad igniting Telugu fans’ spirits and exceptional performances by beloved players in teams like CSK and RCB. The enthusiasm for the cricket league remains unwavering until its grand finale on May 26th. Considering these aspects, Gangs Of Godavari has set its sights on May 31st as the most favorable date.
