Fans were treated to a delightful Friends reunion during Sunday’s Super Bowl LVIII. Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer teamed up for an Uber Eats ad that aired during the big game.
The commercial featured major celebrities from sports and entertainment enjoying the convenience of Uber Eats food delivery. Aniston appears perplexed when a studio assistant brings her a random assortment of meals.
When Schwimmer shows up, Aniston acts like she doesn’t recognize him. He reminds her they worked together for 10 years, clearly referring to their iconic roles as Rachel and Ross on Friends.
Aniston pretends to suddenly remember him, saying “You were great!” But Schwimmer sees through her act, asking “You still don’t know, don’t you?” A flustered Aniston admits she doesn’t remember and walks away.
The cute ad recreated the pair’s famous chemistry and banter from the hit sitcom that ended in 2004. It delighted fans worldwide to see Rachel and Ross together again, even if Rachel humorously pretended not to know Ross.
Aniston and Schwimmer admitted last year during the Friends reunion special that they both had crushes on each other in real life. But they never got together off-screen, making their on-screen romance all the more special for fans.
