Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming venture, “Family Star,” has emerged as one of the most highly anticipated films in the Telugu film industry, and its significance is underscored by the pivotal juncture it holds in the actor’s career. Deverakonda, grappling with a series of setbacks at the box office, is looking to make a triumphant return with this project. The film is helmed by Parasuram, the director behind the blockbuster “Geetha Govindam,” which not only propelled Deverakonda to stardom but also marked a turning point in Parasuram’s directorial career, opening doors to direct superstar Mahesh Babu.
Adding to the film’s allure is the casting, with the talented Mrunal Thakur essaying the role of the female lead, accompanied by Divyansha Kaushik in a significant supporting role. Gopi Sundar, known for his musical prowess, has been entrusted with composing the film’s score. Produced by Dil Raju under the esteemed banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, “Family Star” is poised to be a cinematic spectacle.
The initial announcement of a Sankranti 2024 release was accompanied by a tantalizing glimpse of the film, which resonated positively with audiences. Notably, a dialogue from the teaser, ‘Ironevanchala Enti,’ gained unexpected traction, transcending its initial status as troll material. The teaser also teased a deeper narrative beyond a conventional love story, emphasizing the portrayal of the intricate dynamics within a marital relationship. However, recent developments indicate a potential deviation from the original release plan, as the film’s shooting schedule has reportedly fallen behind. Presently, the production team is stationed in the Noida, NCR region, with plans for a subsequent 15-day shoot in the United States. Consequently, there are speculations that “Family Star” might see a revised release date in mid-March 2024.
