A twist in the tale has emerged once again in the ongoing release date gamble, a tradition particularly prominent during the Sankranti Festival. However, this time, the competition is within the same family, involving a star actor’s father and son.
Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara and Ram Charan’s Game Changer are both in the pipeline for Sankranti Festival releases. Initially, Ram Charan’s long-delayed project Game Changer was set to release in December. However, despite confirmations from both the producer and music director, no release date has been mentioned in the promotional posters, sparking fresh speculation.
Reports now suggest that the makers of Game Changer are eyeing a Sankranti release date, which could push Vishwambhara to postpone its release. Although the team behind Vishwambhara is currently holding firm on their Sankranti slot, it’s likely the film might be delayed to summer if Game Changer secures the festival date. Given that Vishwambhara is a socio-fantasy film with extensive VFX work required, many feel that a delay, rather than rushing its release, would be the wiser choice.
