Exit movie finds the release date

The release date for the highly anticipated Malayalam survival thriller Exit has been officially announced after much anticipation. The film is scheduled to premiere in theaters on March 8th. Vishak Nair takes on a leading role in Exit under the direction of debutant Shaheen Mohammed. The film recently received an A certificate from the censor board. The film was initially planned for a February release but was delayed due to censorship concerns.

In an interview, Shaheen recently elaborated on the decision to postpone the movie’s theatrical release. He explained that the delay was necessary to address censorship concerns related to the film’s intense violent scenes. Exit follows the story of four young men trapped overnight in a village bungalow in the 1990s. Vishak Nair portrays a character with cannibalistic tendencies who has been chained in an abandoned bungalow for over 25 years under mysterious circumstances.

Audiences are intrigued by the gripping narrative and are eager to uncover the backstory of this chilling thriller. Notably, the film marks the first survival movie in Malayalam cinema featuring a character that moves like an animal and has no dialogue. Vaisakh Vijayan, Reneesha Rahiman, and Tamil actor Sree Raam play significant roles in the film, which Venu Gopalakrishnan produced. The director and Anish Janaradhanan co-wrote the script for Exit.
