Episode 2 Review – House of the Dragon Season 2

“A Burning Wrath Unleashes Drama”

After a sweet revenge in Episode 1, this one starts off with grief that eventually turns into rage from Aegon I Targaryen, the younger blood who couldn’t wait to diminish the monsters while neglecting the experienced hand of Otto Hightower.

The drama that’s been building at both ends is slowly giving us the slow poison that makes us connect to the story. Scenes between Rhaenyra and Mysaria discussing Daemon’s characteristics, followed by Otto’s thoughts on Aegon, were so interesting.

The build-up for the revenge is being set up slowly, and the twins’ end, with the two of them honored against each other, eventually ended the episode on a high note.

Nothing much of Alicent yet. It will be interesting to see how she takes things forward in this thirst for vengeance.
