The 2022 suspense thriller “Dharani Mandala Madhyadolage,” directed by newcomer Sridhar Shikaripura and featuring a talented cast including Naveen Shankar, Aishani Shetty, Yash Shetty, Nitesh Mahaan, Prakash Thuminad, Siddu Moolimani, and more, has recently secured a streaming platform. The film can now be enjoyed on Amazon Prime Video, specifically through TVOD (Transactional Video on Demand), exclusively for viewers in the United States. Actor Naveen Shankar, who starred in the movie, clarifies that Dharani Mandala Madhyadolage is available for TVOD or rental. The filmmakers initially couldn’t secure a deal with a streaming platform, but they have now been given a second opportunity through a dashboard provided by a Mumbai-based aggregator. Regrettably, it was illegally pirated shortly after the platform released the film.
The movie, released in December 2022, marked Aishani’s return to the big screen after her last film in 2019, Nam Gani BCom Pass. Naveen portrayed the character of a professional boxer, requiring him to undergo rigorous training. Yash, typically known for playing negative roles in Kannada cinema, took on a positive role in Dharani Mandala Madhyadolage. Siddu Moolimani portrayed a character obsessed with drugs. Dharani Mandala Madhyadolage is a complex crime thriller that weaves together the stories of various individuals who are connected through a series of chance encounters. The film revolves around an aspiring boxer searching for his kidnapped love, a mechanic falsely accused of a crime, a petty criminal caught up in legal troubles due to a drug-induced mishap, and a grief-stricken lover on a quest for self-destruction.
Last spotted in Kanada in Kshetrapati, Naveen mentioned that JioCinema has acquired the movie and will be available on the platform after the IPL Season. Additionally, Naveen, who is involved in the Salaar franchise, is set to commence work on the sequel shortly.
