Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri’s upcoming movie Dhadak 2 was officially revealed at the beginning of this year. Filming for the project commenced in December 2023. While they were busy shooting for Dhadak 2, Triptii’s film Animal made its way to the theaters. Reflecting on their time on set, Siddhant recently discussed the shift in the crew’s attitude towards Triptii following the release of her movie with Ranbir Kapoor.
During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Siddhant Chaturvedi disclosed that he observed a shift in the demeanor of the Dhadak 2 crew regarding his co-star Triptii. The actor reminisced about the time he and Triptii were engaged in filming in Bhopal last December. Siddhant mentioned that he attended the premiere of Animal on its opening day along with Triptii, catching the final showing. I had already heard the songs and was familiar with the storyline. She also shared her thoughts on the film. We were in Bhopal for a shoot when it was finally released and decided to watch it together. The transformation in people’s reactions towards her after the release of Animal was quite remarkable. The actor elaborated that before the release of Animal, Triptii’s requests for tea on the set of Dhadak 2 went largely unnoticed. However, a noticeable shift occurred in their treatment of her following the successful debut of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film. “After the release, they began inquiring about her tea preferences—whether she preferred masala tea, green tea, and so forth. I often teased her about it afterward. Nevertheless, I am genuinely pleased that this change took place for her,” he remarked.
Triptii Dimri experienced a surge in popularity following the massive success of her 2023 film Animal. She gained the title of a national heartthrob after the movie’s release. She secured roles in multiple Hindi films, such as Bad Newz, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, and others. Her most recent cinematic outing was Bad Newz alongside Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk. The film received mixed reviews but earned a respectable sum at the box office.
