Devara: NTR hypes the underwater sequences in the film

Devara, the pan-Indian action drama starring NTR in the lead role, is all set to be released in theaters worldwide on September 27, 2024. The renowned star actor reunited for the film with director Koratala Siva after a blockbuster like Janatha Garage (2016). It is also the solo film of NTR after six years, as Rajamouli’s RRR, the global blockbuster, which is the previous film of Tarak, also starred Ram Chaan alongside him. Devara had a grand trailer launch in Mumbai on Tuesday (September 10), and the team, including NTR, Koratala Siva, and Saif Ali Khan, was present in the film along with Karan Johar, who is backing the film in Hindi.

The trailer received nothing less than a stunning response from everyone, and NTR was very happy with the reactions to the trailers. NTR also informed that director Koratala Siva showed a few action sequences from the film for Bollywood distributors in the presence of Karan Johar and others. He added that the response from the team for those action sequences was superb, and he was shocked to see those reactions. According to NTR, the action sequences of Devara, especially the underwater sequences, were physically demanding, and he had a tough time shooting the Shark sequence for the film. He also said that he spent 38 days for underwater sequences and 60 days for overwater sequences.

Also, NTR stated that though the film has heavy action parts, it is a drama film for him with high parts of action. Particularly, he stated that the last 40 minutes of the film will rock, and he cannot wait for the world to see it.
