Devara: Part One is the latest action drama starring star hero NTR in the lead role. The film carried massive hype before the pre-release as it was the first solo film of NTR after six years. The fans showed immense enthusiasm upon the film’s theatrical release and celebrated their matinee idol’s favorite film with midnight and early morning shows. Because of such a huge celebration and turnaround from the fans, Devara was opened to terrific and record-breaking openings at the box office. However, the fans of NTR are continuously disappointed with the makers of Devara for a reason.
Devara’s team had planned a grand pre-release event on September 22, and everyone was waiting to see the grand concert kind of performance from music director Anirudh Ravichander and the speeches of NTR and Koratala Siva. Sadly, because of the overcrowded issue, the pre-release event of Devara was cancelled. NTR released a short video expressing that he too shares the same sorrow and disappointment as his fans regarding the event’s cancellation. After the film’s theatrical release, it was reported that Devara makers will arrange a success meet much to the happiness of NTR fans. However, the latest news is that the film cannot have a success meeting because of security issues.
As the Navaratrulu of Dasara has started, the police department raised concerns about giving security for such a big event, and that is why the team of Devara decided to cancel the success meet as of now. Reportedly, Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, one of the big producers of the Telugu film industry and the distributor for Devara in Telugu states,
arranged a private success party for the film, for which NTR and industry celebrities like Rajamouli also attended last night. So, we might have to wait for a few more days to get a clear picture to know whether Devara’s team will be able to have a public event.
