Devara: Part one had a good day at the box office on October 2. The film very well used the advantage of the National Holiday and minted around 20 crore gross at the worldwide box office on Wednesday. Released on September 27, 2024, the action drama had an extraordinary first weekend and saw drops in collections on the weekdays. However, as said above, the Gandhi Jayanti holiday fetched good numbers for the film.
The Telugu states provided more than decent performance for Devara on Wednesday, especially the Andhra regions, which were too good till the evening shows. Nizam was decent, while the North India also gave good numbers for the film. Overall, the worldwide gross of Devara for 6 days will be 295 crores. Trade expects the film to have a good weekend from October 4-6, and we have to wait and see whether the film will be able to meet the expectations of box office trackers.
A good second weekend is a must and should aspect for Devara’s box office prospects to achieve the breakeven. The Koratala Siva diretorial can benefit from the fact that there are no big releases this week except for Sri Vishnu’s comedy drama Swag. Let us see how the NTR’s action drama will perform over this weekend at the box office.
