The Tamil film “DeAr” featuring GV Prakash Kumar and Aishwarya Rajesh was released in theaters worldwide on Thursday. This romantic drama centers around a newlywed couple who face challenges due to their wife’s snoring problem at night. The movie premiered in cinemas on April 11th, and the Telugu-dubbed version was released today, April 12th. After completing its theatrical exhibition and a minimum four-week run, DeAr will be accessible for streaming. Netflix has acquired the rights to post-theatrical distribution of the film. Dear signifies the first-ever onscreen partnership between GV Prakash and Aishwarya Rajesh, who will be co-starring. The title blends the main characters’ names, Deepika and Arjun.
GV Prakash portrays Arjun, a light sleeper aspiring to become a newsreader. He marries Deepika, a girl from Coonoor who has a snoring problem. Arjun discovers this issue on their wedding night, leading to challenges in their marriage. Directed by Anand Ravichandran, “DeAr” delves into the couple’s journey to overcome obstacles. Produced by Varun Tripuraneni, Abhishek Ramisetty, and G Pruthviraj, the film features music by GV Prakash. The technical team includes cinematographer Jagadeesh Sundaramurthy, editor Rukesh, and art director Pragatheeswaran. The cast consists of Rohini, Ilavarasu, Kaali Venkat, and Geetha Kailasam, among others.
