Daddy Samjheya Karo is the latest Punjabi comedy drama that was released in theaters in May this year. Starring Jaswinder Bhalla and Babbal Rai, the film is now set to make its digital debut. Chaupal, the major OTT platform for Punjabi movies, has bagged the digital rights of the film. Daddy Samjheya Karo is directed and produced by Smeep Kang, and this comedy drama also stars Smeep Kang, Chandan Gill, and DIlawar Sidhu in important roles.
Daddy Samjheya had its theatrical release in May, and it is all set for its OTT arrival on September 3, 2024, on Chaupal, as said above. Apart from this comedy drama, Chaupal also has some exciting content in the form of Jatt and Juliet 3, starring Diljit Dosanjh, and Kudi Haryane Val Di, starring Ammy Virk, which will arrive in September.
Daddy Samjhaye Karo’s story is about an orthodox father who values culture and has a deeply rooted mindset. He wants to see his son getting married to a suitable bride and settle in life. The father tries in many ways and finally finds a girl who he thinks is a perfect choice for his daughter-in-law. However, he gets to know that his son has already fallen in love with another woman who does not approve of the old-fashioned thinking and behaves against societal expectations and deep-rooted norms. The film narrates all the chaotic incidents afterward hilariously.
