Crew, the heist comedy directed by Rajesh Krishnan, is finally set to take off on Friday after keeping people waiting for a while. Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon will be portraying the roles of flight attendants in this film. The release date is scheduled for March 29, 2024, which also happens to be Good Friday. After its theatrical run, the film will be available to stream on Netflix, as they have been announced as Crew’s OTT partner. It is expected to be released on the streaming platform approximately two months after its theatrical release, providing entertainment to a broader audience.
The storyline centers on three devoted companions who work as flight attendants for Kohinoor Airlines, which may be unfamiliar to some. However, an individual with ulterior motives unexpectedly disrupts their peaceful lives, leaving them in a vulnerable and uncertain situation. As a result, they are now embroiled in an ongoing battle, exerting every ounce of their determination to liberate themselves from this predicament. The movie Crew, produced by Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Digvijay Purohit, is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network. Additionally, it features renowned actors Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma.
Tabu stars as Geeta Sethi, the in-flight supervisor for Kohinoor Airlines, while Kareena plays the role of Jasmine Rana, a seasoned senior flight attendant. Kriti, a dedicated junior flight attendant, portrays Divya Bajwa. Diljit takes on the character of Jai Singh Rathore, a cunning sub-inspector from the CBI. Kapil makes a special appearance as Rao Maansingh, a flamboyant millionaire. Rajeh Sharma portrays Mittal, the meticulous chief financial officer of Kohinoor Airlines, and Saswata Chatterjee, who plays Vijay Walia, the assertive chairman of the airline. In a recent interview, Rajesh discussed the harmonious dynamics among the film’s three leading ladies—Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti. Speaking to the media, he emphasized that he remained oblivious to any potential ego clashes if they even occurred. Rajesh’s unwavering focus on his work prevented him from noticing any ego-driven behavior, if it existed. He refrained from engaging in idle gossip, which was irrelevant to his involvement. Notably, renowned actors such as Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti willingly embraced the project, fully cognizant of the associated risks.
