The release of Gautam Menon and Vikram’s highly-anticipated film, Dhruva Natchathiram Chapter 1: Yuddha Kaandam, has been delayed multiple times, creating a sense of anticipation for fans. Initially planned for release on November 24, 2023, the movie was delayed numerous times, reportedly because director Gautham Vasudev Menon could not repay an advance payment to Vijay Raghavendra, a shareholder in All In Pictures. Raghavendra requested an interim ban on the film’s release in the Madras High Court until the debt had been settled.
According to recent reports, Menon managed to clear the debt by paying creditors Rs 60 crore, which is bringing hope to Vikram’s fans about the film’s imminent release. Despite this, there has been no official confirmation of these reports, and the announcement is expected to be out in a few days. Ritu Varma, Vinayakan, and Simran are among the stellar cast members of the film, which has been in production since 2017.
Suriya was initially set to play the lead character in the film but left due to concerns over the script’s authenticity and realism. After that, Chiyaan Vikram was assigned to play the lead role as he liked the script. The film’s trailer was unveiled by Sony Music South on October 24, 2023, promising an exciting cinematic experience, compelling storyline, and top-notch visuals.
