After scoring a hit at the box office last year with Jailer, Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, is slated to hit the screens on October 10th, 2024. Despite the release date being announced a while ago, the promotional material for the film has been delayed. However, this has not affected the film’s buzz.
The promotions for Vettaiyan have kicked off with the release of the first single, “Manasilayo,” composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The song has instantly gained popularity, giving the promotional campaign a significant boost. Anirudh, who delivered a memorable soundtrack for Rajinikanth in Jailer, is set to recreate the magic with Vettaiyan.
The pre-release event and the first preview are planned for September 20th. Character teasers from the film have been impressive, especially clips featuring Ritika Singh, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, and Manju Warrier, which have been well received. Fans are now eagerly awaiting glimpses of Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth before the main event unfolds. These glimpses are exposing the nature of the characters that the stars are delving into for Vettaiyan.
