Buzz around Raayan’s OTT Release

Tamil Star Actor Dhanush’s second directorial venture, Raayan achieved great success at the box office. The film is a big hit both in Telugu and Tamil. The movie surpassed all his earlier film records and collected a whopping Rs.150 crore gross mark at the box office. Currently, Raayan stands as the biggest grosser for Kollywood this year. There is a good buzz around the OTT release of the film since a few days.

Made as an action drama, Raayan consists of a stellar star cast that includes S. J Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, and Dushara Vijayan, along with Dhanush himself in the lead role. The film’s story is about three brothers and one sister, who are entangled in the crime world. According to the reports, Raayan will begin its OTT streaming on August 30 on Amazon Prime Video. However, the OTT platform is yet to announce.

Raayan was produced by Sun Pictures, and they could also premier it on the SunNXT platform, as the other films in the banner. Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman composed the music, while Prasanna GK edited the film, and DOP Om Prakash handled the cinematography.
